Terms of Use

1. Service Provision
uViewDoc provides a static web interface that downloads JavaScript parsers to your browser. The actual "service" of rendering the document occurs entirely on your local hardware. We do not host, store, or process your files on our servers.
2. Liability Limitation
The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. While we strive for high fidelity in document parsing, we cannot guarantee pixel-perfect rendering for all proprietary formats (especially complex DOCX layouts). You use the tool at your own risk.
3. Acceptable Use
Because the computation happens on your machine, you are solely responsible for the content you parse. We have no visibility into your actions. However, you agree not to automate requests to our static assets (e.g., scraping the JS bundles excessively) in a manner that degrades CDN performance.
4. Open Source Attribution
This project relies on several open-source libraries governed by their respective licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0). By using uViewDoc, you acknowledge the attribution embedded within the source maps of our bundled assets.
